Much of the early ministry of Jesus, up to the account of the Transfiguration was a teaching Mission. Jesus was regarded as a wandering Rabbi, who would take his place in the Synagogues and Temple and proclaim the good news.

As Christians there are the components often referred to as the three B’s. The are Believing, Belonging, and Behaving. The church spend a number of years developing clear statements of what we believe. Since the beginning, the Church has been a teaching body.

As Christians we are always learning,  this is in fact the meaning of the word disciple.
