The Stations of the Cross

A traditional meditation for a connected world

The nave wall windows of S Stephens Adamstown are 14 Stations of the Cross. We invite you to join this meditation as we walk with Jesus and consider what it means for Christ to walk with us. As we walk this way, we follow not simply the the steps of our Saviour, but in company with saints, angels and a great congregation of faithful folk in every age. Opening Prayer O God, my Redeemer, From the bottom of my heart I am sorry for all my sins, I have offended you, the infinitely good. I follow in these steps mindful of the cost of my redemption. Praise you you, O lord Most High, By your cross you have redeemed the world.

We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you. By your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.
